Who are the Baha'is?

The Baha'i Faith is an independent modern world-wide religion. We love God, peace and unity and all that leads to a spiritual life here on earth.  We don't have any rituals or 'clergy' as we are each responsible for our own spiritual progress. Baha'is believe that all the major world religions are from God, but there is only one God. Each prophet in history (e.g. Moses, Abraham, Buddha, Krishna, Christ, Mohammed and others) gave a vital message appropriate to the culture and needs of the people of their times. 

A peaceful solution to the world's problems

Baha'is believe that we are all spiritual in nature, that God's creation is essentially good and we are all meant to be happy.  Our purpose on earth is to grow to know and love God and "adorn ourselves with His attributes" (virtues).  Many people who take the time to read our writings find that deep down they are already a Baha'i - they just didn't know about us!
